Today on 22.10.2024, Chandrakanta College Pirbiavani Secunderabad Bulandshahar under the direction of the college principal, National Service Planning Unit constructed at Chandrakanta College Pirbiavani, Secunderabad, Bulandshahar, today, Home Science students of the college under the direction of Mission Shakti 5.0 on 16/10/2024 South Indian Cuisine Competition was organized by the volunteers of National Service Scheme which was a combination of taste, culture and innovation
South Indian cuisine is famous for its uniqueness and taste in Indian cuisine. These dishes have richness and diversity, reflecting our cultural heritage. South Indian Cuisine Competition offers an opportunity to make this heritage alive. South Indian cuisine competition not only offers taste experience but also promotes cultural exchange. This competition offers participants an opportunity to showcase their culinary skills and create innovative dishes. The categories of competitions were as follows
1. Sweets: South Indian sweets, like Mysore Pak, Hyderabadi Gulab Jamun.
2. Breakfast: Idli, Dosa, Vada.
3. Main meal: sambhar, rasam, chettinad chicken.
4. Recipes: papadam, chutney, pickle.
The benefit of this competition is that
1. Making cultural heritage alive.
2. Demonstration of culinary skills.
3. The experience of innovative cuisine.
4. Strengthening social relationships.
Jury members evaluate recipes based on quality, taste, presentation and innovation. Cash prizes, trophies, certificates and cookbooks were awarded in the awards
